When you Googled the word, ‘straw,’ it was our invention that topped the results.

People have even tried to sell the STRAW on eBay.

The STRAW

McDonald’s was launching the new Chocolate Shamrock Shake. But instead of mixing the flavors together in the cup, they decided to serve the shake in layers (probably because mixing mint and brown isn’t very appetizing). This was our inspiration for the STRAW.

We realized that the normal straw would only let you drink one flavor at a time, which sort of defeats the purpose of making a Chocolate Shamrock Shake. So, we decided to reinvent the straw to get both flavors in every sip.

We partnered with a team of actual aerospace and robotics engineers in Cambridge to help us reinvent the straw. With their expertise, we launched the STRAW (Suction Tube for Reverse Axial Withdrawal).
